Our Commitment to Improving the Hotel’s Environmental Management
Our hotel uses Stay For The Planet, LifeGate Impact’s platform to monitor the property’s environmental performance, understand our impacts, and identify opportunities to improve hotel management.
The areas assessed through Stay For The Planet are:
Energy: electricity and heating sources, fugitive emissions, fuels for the company fleet, energy efficiency of the building and equipment.
Water: water consumption by supply source, water-saving measures.
Waste: quantity and type of waste generated, disposal methods, and prevention actions.
Procurement: sourcing policies and environmental and social selection criteria.
A certified commitment
The Hotel Viterbo is pleased to announce that it has obtained the Green Key certification, an international eco-label for tourism establishments promoted by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE).

Certification valid until: [13/07/2027]
Green Key recognizes establishments that integrate environmental management and sustainability criteria into their operations. Maintaining the certification requires continuous compliance with the scheme requirements, verified through documentation and periodic audits.
The certification process covers several aspects of property management, including the efficient use of resources, waste management, guest and staff awareness, and the progressive improvement of environmental performance.

La Fattoria di Alice
Who we are
We are an educational and social farm born from the synergy between the Alicenova and Fattorie Solidali social cooperatives, and the Afesopsit association. We manage the beating heart of Viterbo’s Urban Agricultural Park, an inclusive and accessible space designed to break down physical and cognitive barriers thanks to specially equipped facilities and special signage using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
For us, the land, nature, and contact with animals are fundamental tools for inclusion, growth, and well-being.

We promote environmental education and nutrition education projects. Summer camps are one of our strengths, introducing children to the rhythms of rural life and respect for nature.

We design customized activities and workshops for schools and individuals with the aim of "caring for", getting to know, and socializing with our animal "family."
Inclusion and community
We offer a space open to all with inclusive sports areas, an exciting play area (Spring Garden), and activities for adults (workshops and workshops on nature, cosmetics, and gastronomy).
