BAGNOREGIO
La Tonna (Civita di Bagnoregio)
"La Tonna" donkey race with jockey's contending for the very antique prize in San Donato square (Civita di Bagnoregio). The work Tona comes from "rotonda" like the piazza where this contest is held.
Other festivities in piazza accompany this event.

A procession in honor of the body of Christ is held with flowers lining the streets.

BASSANO IN TEVERINA
Borgo in festa (Town Festival)
The vias of the town are lined with stands of antiques and a medieval marketplace.
To make this festival even more interseting, the town florists display their floral composites. The program includes a dinner under the stars, music and dance. Free guides visits are also available to the marvellous medieval tower, pride and joy of Bassano, with its Roman bell-tower hidden within.

Flowering Blera
The religious feast of " corpus domini" is celebrated when the citizens of the town decorate the streets, balconies, fountains and every characteristic angle of the town with impressive flowers and floral arrangements.

BOLSENA
Feast of Saint Anthony of Padova
Saint Anthony is the protector of Brick layers in the town of Bolsena and the day is celebrated with a mass and procession at the Convent of the Madionna of Giglio. The liberation from the seige of 1944 is also recognized on this day.

Procession of Corpus Domini with flowers
This feast is celebrated in remembrance of the Eucharistic miracle which took place in 1263.
A Bohemian priest, in a pilgrimage to Rome, stopped to say mass in Bolsena and at the time of Holy Communion, while breaking the consecrated host, a doubt came to him as to the real presence of the body of Christ. The host began to bleed drops of blood which stained the stones on the altar, now guarded in the Basilica of Santa Cristina in Bolsena.
To celebrate this feast, one of the stained Sacred Stones is carried in a procession through the streets of the town decorated with flowers by the townspeople.

Feast of the Hydrangea
This event is celebrated to admire the different varieties of this great flower along with food tasting of local products that include wine and olive oil. The streets are lined with expos done by specialized florists and guided visits to the historical center of Bolsena are also available.
